New Radisson Resort opened near the Baltic Sea

Only a few steps away from the picturesque Baltic Sea, the Radisson Resort Kolobrzeg opens as the 15th hotel of the Radisson Hotel Group in Poland.

Located in a quiet, cozy area east of the city center, the hotel is an exciting new option for a beach holiday in Western Pomerania and the first hotel in Kołobrzeg to have its own aqua park. With the opening of this new property, the Radisson Hotel Group confirms its position as the leading international resort operator in Poland.

The 209 rooms and suites of the Radisson Resort Kolobrzeg are inspired by the resort’s beachfront location and feature a minimalist and bright design, inspired by the sea and the natural parks in the hotel’s neighborhood to create the feeling of being on the beach. The rooms are decorated in a soft Scandinavian style and feature graphics by the Polish artist Zuzanna Zakrzewska. All rooms and suites have private balconies so guests can enjoy the view and enjoy their vacation in true relaxation.

The hotel’s own aquapark is perfect for a family vacation and offers two indoor pools and a heated outdoor pool, outdoor and indoor slides, whirlpools and a spacious relaxation area with sun loungers. On the roof terrace, guests can bathe in the breathtaking infinity pool, sunbathe and look out over the Baltic Sea. The hotel’s spa has a steam bath and eight treatment rooms for the Ostseebad experience, for which Kolberg is known, and offers relaxation rituals, rehabilitation treatments and a range of facial and body treatments with Phytomer products with active ingredients of marine origin.

The Radisson Resort Kolobrzeg combines fine cuisine with casual restaurants and offers a selection of the region’s culinary scene with an emphasis on fish dishes. The stylish la carte restaurant Persante takes its name from the river of the same name and focuses on local cuisine with ingredients from the Western Pomerania region, while the international buffet restaurant Salmo offers options for all tastes. The pool bar serves refreshing drinks and snacks in the Aquapark throughout the day, while the lobby bar, with its relaxed atmosphere, is the ideal place for cocktails, lighter dishes and cakes.

Kołobrzeg is Poland’s largest spa town and the country’s spa capital with more than 1 million visitors annually. Along the 11 kilometer long coastline, the beaches are up to 100 meters wide and offer enough space for sun worshipers even in the busy summer months. With its tradition as a health resort and the recent development of numerous health and wellness facilities, Kolberg attracts visitors all year round. Radisson Resort Kolobrzeg is in a quieter part of town, next to Aleksander Fredo Park, a popular hotspot with an amphitheater that hosts concerts throughout the summer. The beach is 500 m from the hotel and offers a fantastic insight into local life on the Baltic Sea. The forest complex of the Eastern Ecopark offers picturesque landscapes that are typical of the West Pomeranian region. The nightlife of Kołobrzeg and its sights such as the lighthouse and pier are only a few kilometers away, as is the Kołobrzeg train station with direct connections to Solidarno Szczecin-Goleniów Airport and Warsaw.

Yilmaz Yildirimlar, Area Senior Vice President, Central and Eastern Europe, Russia and Turkey at the Radisson Hotel Group, says: “We are delighted to open the doors of our first Radisson Resort on the Baltic coast. Radisson is an upscale hotel brand that offers Scandinavian-inspired hospitality that allows guests to focus on a work-life balance and find a harmonious travel experience. With this exciting addition to our Polish portfolio, we are continuing our success story as the largest international resort operator in the country. “

The Radisson Resort Kolobrzeg is operated by Zdrojowa Hotels, the leading investor and operator of resort hotels in Poland, which also operates the Radisson Blu Resort, Swinoujscie and the Radisson Hotel Szklarska Poręba, among others.

“The Radisson Resort Kolobrzeg will be Zdrojowa’s fifth property in Kolberg, which will strengthen our position in this very competitive market. With the city’s first hotel aquapark, the hotel will also perfectly complement the tourist offer. Kołobrzeg is the largest Polish spa town with the most overnight stays in Poland. ”Sums up Maciej Wyskiel, the general manager of the hotel.

With the health and safety of guests and team members a top priority, Radisson Resort Kolobrzeg implements the Radisson Hotels Safety Protocol program. The detailed cleanliness and disinfection protocols were developed in cooperation with SGS, the world’s leading inspection, verification, testing and certification company, and are intended to ensure the safety of guests from check-in to check-out.
